Inter-Web

Photobucket

I thought to do a blog for everyone here, everything seems to be going good for me. Spring is starting to come around, not that we are having the share of rain and cold here in California, it's still nice and baseball begins this coming week!  I am still a Chicago Cubs fan and always will be!

I am doing whole lot better. I went to work yesterday, and I am going again today!  I was tired after working 9 hours yesterday. I do get a hour lunch or little more than that. And I went to do a light workout at the gym yesterday.

Today I think I am going to be working on some more software installing at the office today!

It's amazing just hearing about people in the last week that I know having family problems that they have to deal with and they still work and go to school each and everyday. It just amazes me.

For me I am still single and doing very good!  I have my days where well I would like to be with someone, but overall I really enjoy being single. I also like the part where I don't have to drive and get to either walk or take the bus or cab around here!

The inter-web really does have it's perks when you think about it!

I don't know if it's me or if it's just I been getting lucky but my gaydar seems to be getting much better for the last couple of weeks now! I still don't know if that nurse was gay or not while I was in the hospital, but it so seem to be that my gaydar is going very good!  I hope I don't have to explain, it's just strange.

I really cannot think of anything else to chat about.  Today is of course Tuesday and it's Ag-Biz Tuesday around here!  Here is a good question to ask all of you, when you think of Ag-Biz, what comes to mind? I like to know what you respond back to me.  Oh and when you do, maybe tell me where you are located at, like South, SouthWest, East, and etc, and even the ones who are out of state, all though I don't think any of my contacts are out of state but I never know unless I ask.  I know when I upload my weekly videos on YouTube I get Brazil, and I get sometimes China! And of course Americans!

Well that is about it, don't want to bore anyone.  Until next time, be it long or short don't do anything that I would do, that would consist of a lot!

Road Trip

http://bhavens.com/bigheadfred/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/truckster.jpg

This coming Thursday and running for the whole weekend is the Consumer Electronic Show which will be running from January 7 to 10, 2010.

I shall be gone and will be limited to my time here, so I am going to be jamin  nearly a weeks worth of stuff in the next four days here!

I was telling you yesterday about the last ten years of what went down in my personal life and also in this country and world.  Few things I want you to read  first of all that I think will amuse you.  Micheal summed it up pretty well in his blog  on  Where's My Jetpack? Also please follow another blog that I just started to follow, his name is James I think we got those two things put away!

Now lets continue on what I was talking about.  I was telling you about the last ten years and things that took and went down in my personal life and in the world.  I have learned a lot about Ubuntu Operating Software. I  am not going to discuss much about it here since I have it on my other website, which you can go and log yourself onto over there by clicking here.

What I do want to mention is what I am going to be talking about here on Multiply and on my actual website which is Ikes Network. Everyone needs to have a cause, be it that you may want to help out the poor, the needy children, education, anything that your heart may desire. For me for a while now I have always of course like to talk about technology, of course I am Ubuntu fanboy and I will continue geekin and enjoy the technology. I have always enjoyed announcing, I have some of it that is part of me all ready, I work for a company a internet company and so some of it came true for me.

I have always like I was saying enjoyed announcing, the weather is another thing that sparks interest with me. The cause for me is global warming, I think we do need to look at that more serious than just letting our children worry about it. Of course the older that you are, the less concern you may be thinking about it. You may be thinking that its not so much to be true, of course with those emails that were leaked out few weeks ago does not help it any.  For some reason  though we may not think that it is going on, that we do have a problem.

For the most part, lets just say its not happening, it still makes me want to be more greener, find other ways to be more healthier for this planet that we do live on.

I am taking the cause of it and running with it here on Multiply and on my website. I also am a great believer that we need to keep helping and approaching ways for farmers and agribusiness and it's community. I will continue this cause also and talk about this and be voice for farmers and the agribusiness.  Young Americans and FFA is was a thing that I was in when I was in high school, and I will support this cause also, and talk about it even more on Multiply and on my website.

Of course I will continue on with my Thirsty Thursday and the pictures, that shall never go away here. I am attractive to guys, you can't stop that from me being attractive and for being gay!

I will continue also talking about technology, and software, and debate of health care, and the government and this great country that we do live in.

I hope you will all continue to stay with me and be supportive in what ever way you want to be, and enjoy my blogs and My websites that I have created just for all of you!

Why I like Ubuntu

http://www.ivankristianto.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/ubuntu-logo217.gif

Of course everyone knows that I have started a website of my own and my experience with Ubuntu and what I do with Ubuntu, I will tell you my feelings of software that I use with Ubuntu, things that I may feel that is not right with Ubuntu software, share views that I read about Ubuntu. Let me tell you I don't work for Ubuntu, not yet at least, and I am not professional installer, not yet at least, but would like to.

About two years ago I was introduced to the community by someone, that I won't mention his name, since I have not asked him that I should mention his name. So I will not mention the name here. For a while I was circling around pondering for a while should I or should I not install Ubuntu, should I even install a Linux Operating Service.  For the ones who are about ready to be confused and pull your hair out, let me tell you little bit about what operating service is for you in brief, more than likely for the ones who are reading this if you so are, your reading it with Microsoft Windows, which comes with most PC, a PC or laptop that you may have PC stands more for Personal Computer, or Desktop, and of course there is a MAC which  Apple makes, which really to be honest it's about the same kind of hardware when you think about it, might be higher end scale hardware installed in the machine of a MAC.  Of course we have phones, blackberrys and the list can go on and on!

A Linux system is something that can be installed by only certain I think like 3 or 4 computer makers, and I think it's only Dell Machine or with its name on it. Here is a catch though, there is of course a harddrive in every computer, of course that is how the system works and turns on. You can actually partion the drive or you can erase that whole hard drive (in my case) and install Linux on that drive.  If you think its very hard, its actually not very hard to do. Of course if you don't know much about partion, which I have taught myself its very easy, for most user you would want to read up on how to partion the drive. Its very detailed on how you can partion the drive, you can install Linux in a partion with on average only with 20GB, which you then can leave the rest to be used with Microsoft Windows. Or in my case which I have done I just erased the whole drive and installed Ubuntu.  On some computers like for myself which I have a eMachine computer you can install the Nivda drive, or in my case I have not turned it on and I don't use it. Yes at times some things seem to not work, the default audio and system is PulseAudio which is used in Ubuntu, which I have voiced my concerns little bit on this, I think it needs to be looked at with PulseAudio for being the default, it does not work that well.

Okay were getting into lingo here that might be confusing some people, I will leave it brief and discuss in more detail if you are going to install Ubuntu later on.

Back to what I wanted to talk about before, when I first installed Linux it was actually Mandrake or Mandriva which it is called now, yes my first system was not Ubuntu system. I really did go and jump ship a few times with not having Mandriva or Ubuntu  to be installed for the first year. It took me a while to really get to like Linux system.

I started I think about 3 or 4 months later to test Ubuntu out, still I was using Windows more than I was using Ubuntu, I would jump ship and still use Windows, or then sometimes I would install Mandriva again.  I would do this for about a year, and then back in October of 2008, I just had it with Microsoft and the viruses that all the updates and problems with having to deal with Microsoft I jump ship for good. I have not looked back, sure I have tested in brief some Windows things but I never have looked back at Ubuntu. I did leave for little bit because I heard this thing called Linux Mint which takes a lot of things and copy with Ubuntu community, however within the last 4 to 5 months I have stayed with Ubuntu. And this is where I shall stay.

I am loyal Cubs fan, and I am a loyal now Ubuntu fan.  I am for sure just like the Cubs fan is that you can hit your head on a brick wall, I am for sure that will be the case with Ubuntu.
In my whole meaning of this story is that for that one person, if he only knew how much I appreciate what he showed me one day.  You see for most of us we don't appreciate what is given to us. Computers are used not for a tool, and that is what it is, a tool, something to give us the information and to give it back.

Being a die hard Cubs fan and of course a Ubuntu fanboy myself they don't resemble the same thing what so ever. One is of course sports the other to me is something that should be shared to be used for education purpose, for helping each other out in time of need, of course for some entertainment its not suppose to be used for all work and no play!

So when you hear me say something about Ubuntu Software, be it good or bad, I am looking for improvements. If you have a question or concern, I am here to listen and try and find information out for you.  I am using it for a tool.  It's just like my other cause which I am taking on this year and that is saving this planet from global warming. I can be a geek and know lot about technology but I am also very concern about how we can save this planet. I am also for the farmers and agricultural. I am trying to find software or create a software in my spare time to create here for the farmers and agribusiness. I am firm supporter for Ubuntu community, and for FFA and young Americans who are in agribusiness.

Not bad for someone that is a fanboy of Ubuntu.

Choqok

http://mtux.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/hi128-app-choqok.png

Choqok ( pronounced: tʃʊˈqʊk ) is something that I have been using for Twitter and Identi.ca it's very useful tool for the open source community to have and I have been enjoying it very much so for the last week and half.  If you are a person who uses open source and the Linux/Unix system, then this might be something for you.  It is a KDE app, but it does work great in GNOME also which is awesome and it is so much better than having to deal with Tweetdeck and Adobe Air.

Happy New Year

2010 Pictures, Images and Photos

Happy New Year and to 2010!  I hope everyone of you have a great 2010. The economy, war, things are still very uncertain in the world, and all you can do is hope, pray that everything is going to be okay.

The decade is over with, and is behind us now. This past decade was not the best one by far for me, so really, I am so glad it's over with. Of course it starts off with it not being oh so good, lets hope it starts off better.

Of course we have had the start of the decade with President Bush, the Supreme Court and how it dragged out and I really think it tarnished the way we deal with the world with us and how it took so long for it to be over with.

We had health care debates ever since I can remember going on, and still is going on. We have had a President that took office and was by far not the best leader to me, the current one also got issues and they need to address one at a time, not throw it at us all at once.

Never would have thought that Sadam Hussein would have been put to death, and Castro would have lost the power that he so much have always wanted.

We lost announcers, sports figures and idles that we have looked up to. We have had sports figures who have left us down.

We have many things to look back at in this decade and remember what went on.

There is so much that I could go on and on talking about it.  But I wanted to look back at what it was for me.

I shall on Sunday take a look forward and what this page is going to be looking like, that is if you are reading it on Multiply.  For the ones who read the blog on Ikes Network,  I will continue doing weekend blogs on Ikes Network.  And you will get the chance to know more about  what is coming up on My Multiply!

Christmas is finally over!

http://www.orangeclothingco.com/Walmart_New_Logo.png

It should be the title shoplifting, but not really because I did pay for it and I will be getting my new computer chair in matter of weeks, it was some what a Christmas present to myself!  In case if you are very confused right now what I am talking about, here is the link to the story http://digg.com/d31DseB It was sort of amusing to hear a priest say its okay to steal if you are unable to buy something! WHAT????

And it was my very first time ever, yes ever that I purchased from Wal-Mart.com, never did that ever before! Now I should get that desk chair in matter of weeks! Oh boy Oh boy I can't wait!

So how was everyone's Christmas? Mine was okay, had to work of course on Christmas night, but other than having to work on Christmas it went very well.  The upside to it I don't have to work New Year's Day which I think I shall sleep in that day!

Martin Morales and Crystal Rodriguez

Did you get to read about this story also, it happen around here in the LA area, and KTLA got the story which you can read about it.  No Child should ever have to go through with what this 5 year old child gone through. They should have the parents go through the same torture that this child had to go through with the two that I pictured above here.

Well that is about all I have to speak about for today, have a great Saturday everyone and talk to each and everyone of you again Sunday.
